Becky Buller and Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper Receive Multiple IBMA Awards Nominations

During a recent press conference held in Nashville, Tennessee, the International Bluegrass Music Association announced their nominees for the IBMA Awards. Becky Buller and Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper both received multiple nominations.

 

 

 

Becky Buller and her band received a total of seven nominations that include:
Becky Buller – Female Vocalist and Fiddle Player of the Year
Ned Luberecki – Banjo Player of the Year
Gospel Recorded Event of the Year – “Speaking”
Recorded Event of the Year – “Calamity Jane” with Rhonda Vincent, “Rebel And Rose” with Sam Bush
Song of the Year – “Calamity Jane”

Additionally Becky participated in two more recordings that received nominations:
“Swept Away” by Missy Raines, Becky on Fiddle
“She Took The Tennessee River” by Special Consensus, with Becky on Fiddle and written by Becky.

Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper received two nominations:
Fiddle Player of the Year and Instrumental Group of the Year.

The IBMA Awards will be held on Thursday, September 27th in Raleigh, NC during the IBMA’s week-long World of Bluegrass conference and festival.
